The Water Smart Gardens and Homes Rebate scheme gives you the chance to save water and money when you purchase eligible water-saving products between 1 July 2009 and 30 June 2011.

Eligible products include water efficient showerheads, upgrading to eligible dual flush toilets, garden products, rainwater tanks and systems for reusing household waste water.

To apply for a rebate

• Attach the original receipt for an eligible purchase and the plumbers receipt to the application form along with the certificate of compliance and copy of building permit (if applicable)
• Claims can only be made for purchases made within the eligible period which closes 30 June 2011
• All rebate applications must be received by your water retailer by 30 September 2011
• Mail the form and original reveipts to your local water retailer (a list of water retailers is on the form)

EFT or Cheque Payments for Rebate Amounts of $500 or more

You may request an EFT or cheque payment for the Greywater and Large Tank2 Rebates. Other rebates may be provided as credits on your account with your water provider.
